GHK-Cu (Copper Tripeptide-1) is a synthetic 3-amino acid tripeptide (Glycyl-L-Histidyl-L-Lysine) complexed with copper.
It was discovered in 1973 by Dr. Loren Pickart while working at the University of California, San Francisco.
Researchers have extensively studied GHK-Cu in preclinical and some clinical models for its potential roles in wound healing, tissue regeneration, skin repair, collagen and elastin synthesis, antioxidant activity, and anti-inflammatory effects.
